Kindness
There’s not enough kindness in the world
A teardrop on the edge of a petal
Might drive someone mental
Or think it was accidental
But me I prefer to think
It was not coincidental
That the tear chose to stay that way
There on the edge, on the brink
And not slide off and fall away
Like this thought dropped to materialize in ink
About what I think
When I say
There is not enough kindness in the world
I pray kindness will last more than a day
I pray kindness will show a way
How it can stay
And not become extinct
