Um leguna
Fjølmentanar-Familjulegan er legan ætlað familjum* við tilflytara- og flóttafólkabakgrund og fleirmentaðum familjum - bæði teimum, ið nýliga eru flutt til Føroya og teimum, ið hava kallað Føroyar heim sítt í mong ár.
Legan verður hildin í Nesvík í døgunum 10.-12. oktober.
Endamál
Endamálið við leguni er at strykja integratión og trivnað hjá tilflytarum, flóttafólkum og familjum teirra í Føroyum. Vit vilja skapa eina kenslu av at hoyra til í okkara smásamfelag og at skapa eitt trygt, opið og jaligt fjølbroytt umhvørvi.
Vikuskiftið býður uppá eitt meiningsfult og avslappandi umhvørvi við gleði, menning og styrktum sambondum. Skráin fevnir m.a. um:

Sjálvboðin hjá Reyða Krossi Føroya skipa fyri leguni. Fjølbroytta toymið av sjálvbodnum, við ymiskum mentanarligum bakgrundum og royndum, er sera spent at skapa eina innihaldsríka og minnisríka legu í ár.
*Familjur fevnur um øll sløg av familjum við børnum - mamma og pápi, mamma og mamma, pápi og pápi, støk foreldur, ommur og abbar, verjar og meira. Øll sløg av familjum við tilflytara- og flóttafólkafamiljum og fleirmentaðum familjum eru hjartaliga vælkomnar.

Registration for the Intercultural Family Retreat opens today
The Faroe Islands Red Cross is delighted to announce that registration for the Intercultural Family Retreat opens today, Monday 15 September, at 18:00.
About the retreat
The Intercultural Family Retreat is for families* with immigrant and refugee backgrounds, as well as multicultural families – both those who have recently moved to the Faroe Islands and those who have called the Faroe Islands home for many years.
The retreat will take place in Nesvík, 10–12 October.
Purpose
The purpose of the retreat is to strengthen integration and well-being among immigrants, refugees, and their families in the Faroe Islands. We aim to create a sense of belonging in our small society and to build a safe, open, and positive intercultural environment.
The weekend offers a meaningful and relaxing atmosphere filled with joy, growth, and stronger connections. The program includes, among other things:
Exciting workshops
Creative and fun activities for both children and adults
Music, games, and shared meals
Plenty of time to relax and be together informally

Build bridges and friendships across cultures

Organized by volunteers
The retreat is organized by the volunteers of the Faroe Islands Red Cross. The diverse team, with different cultural backgrounds, experiences and skills, is very excited to create a meaningful and memorable retreat this year.
*Families include all kinds of families with children – mom and dad, mom and mom, dad and dad, single parents, grandparents, guardians, and more. All families with immigrant, refugee, or multicultural backgrounds are warmly welcome.
